Make a Plan to Succeed on the WorkKeys Test

Student steps to test success:

  1. Decide which test you need to take.
  2. Determine when and where you will take the test. Plan to register 2 months in advance for WorkKeys tests.
  3. Register for the test you will take. For WorkKeys tests, you will register yourself by selecting where you want to take the test and calling the test center.
  4. Use the free tools available on the OhioMeansJobs, K-12 site to find tutorials, ebooks, and practice tests you can use to prepare for the test. Click the link for Prepare for Career Tests to find the WorkKeys prep materials. Once you are in the LearningExpress Hub, type workkeys in the search box to access all WorkKeys test prep. Plan to practice a little each week for the 8 weeks leading up to the test.
  5. The night before the test, get plenty of sleep. The morning of the test, eat a healthy breakfast.
