Make a Plan to Succeed on the ACT Test

Student steps to test success:

  1. Determine when you will take the ACT test. Plan to register 2 months in advance.
  2. Register for the test you will take. For the ACT test, you will register yourself online.
  3. Use the free tools available on the OhioMeansJobs, K-12 site to find tutorials, ebooks, and practice tests you can use to prepare for the test. Plan to practice a little each week for the 8 weeks leading up to the test.
  4. The night before the test, get plenty of sleep. The morning of the test, eat a healthy breakfast.
