INFOhio Blizzard Bags - Grades K-3: Sharing Information

Students follow the six dimensions of inquiry as they read, investigate and complete the activities. Ohio's learning standards are integrated into the activities.

  1. Create a "Blizzard of Learning" display in your classroom. Post the results of your learning on a bulletin board. You could also have a "Snow Slam" and read aloud or share snowflake knowledge from your KWL chart or final project. One up the next person with your interesting fact or perspective! (K-3) 
  2. Share what you know in a short video, an infographic, or even a meme!. Use one of the creation tools or publishing tools found in Achieve on GO! Ask, Act, Achieve to find the best online tool for your project. (K-3) 
  3. Keep the learning going all winter long. Start a class blog to write and post more about Snowflake Bentley, what you did on your snow day, or the hidden secrets of snow. Check out Edublogs to get started! (K-3)
